Roving Exhibition - The Art and Science of Conservation: Unlocking The Secrets Of Conservation In 10 Minutes

The Conservation Office is dedicated to preserving cultural heritage for future generations. To bring these priceless treasures closer to the public, we aim to foster community engagement and raise awareness about the significance of conservation. This year, we are excited to continue our Roving Exhibition at new locations across Hong Kong, inviting you to explore the art and science behind conservation!

What can you expect from our Roving Exhibition?

The exhibition features eight informative panels that provide an engaging overview of conservation principles, the tools and technologies involved, and the stories behind four highlighted case studies. You will gain a deeper insight into the two key conservation approaches—preventive and interventive—learn about the work conservators do, and understand their crucial role and mission.

Additionally, the exhibition introduces common pests found in Hong Kong and shares practical pest control tips for your home, encouraging you to apply these methods in everyday life. Finally, get a preview of our new Hong Kong Conservation Repository (CORE) and discover the exciting career opportunities it offers in the conservation field.
